Sight impaired visitors
The sensory-tactile museum layout, which is permanent and inclusive, is a special tool designed to make the entire collection accessible to sight-impaired visitors. Everybody can enjoy this tour, which has been designed to enrich the visit experience.
Each station consists in relief drawings providing a two-dimensional interpretation of the painting. Each relief is followed by a small caption in high-readability and Braille fonts, an audio file introducing the work and another audio file guiding the visitor through a tactical exploration.
The entire experience may be enjoyed either independently or in the company of a member of the Museum’s educational staff, subject to prior reservation. The Educational Services also provide guided tactile tours and presentations of the museum heritage to groups, subject to prior reservation.
